Asobo Announces Beta Version 1.21.18.0 for MSFS

The developers at Asobo has recently announced (and later published) a Beta Build Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator on the FS Forums, effectively increasing the version number to 1.21.18.0. Starting off the post, the development teams expressed hope, optimism, and excitement for the upcoming features they have planned for the upcoming year.

This Beta Build Update addressed issues with TrackIR, Virtual Reality, Weather, and other bug fixes in the sim. Due to the reports that were received from users, these bug fixes and other improvements will be coming to Sim Update 8. The developers also teased possible new features coming to the sim as well.

In the release notes, the development teams addressed various bug fixes including but not limited to, 10SM visibility and abnormal temperatures about FL450 have been fixed, alongside other weather fixes. The VR toolbar has been fixed to prevent any interactions and controllers have now been fixed and are now able to be used in legacy interaction cockpits.

Adding on to the extensive list, as previously mentioned, TrackIR support has been fixed. Moving on, HUD shaders in aircraft have been fixed, reverse thrust bugs were also addressed in this Build. The recently, out-of-the-box Reno Air Races were also addressed to further optimize the area for users. If you are interested in viewing the full changelog you can view it on the FS Forums.
