ToLiss A321neo Addon Now Available

Canadian developer ToLiss Simulation Solutions have released an expansion pack to their A321 rendition, bringing two new engine types to the aircraft as well as three new 'sub-variants'.

Additionally, three new exit configurations have been added to the aircraft in accordance with the manufacturer's 'Cabin Flex' concept.

The three subvariants are the A321neo, A321LR and A320XLR. The new-engine option version brings a choice of two new engine types, the CFM LEAP-1A (ToLiss simulates the -1A33 variant) and Pratt & Whitney PW1130G-JM, which is also an option in the new addon pack.

The A321LR builds on the A321neo by extending its range to 4,000nm, whilst the A321XLR (extra-long range) can carry passengers up to 4,700nm in a two-class configuration.

Independently-simulated fuel systems are also present across the three variants, in addition to 'specific weight envelopes' for each. Other systems changes have also been made, the developer using the example of the A321XLR's single-slotted flaps to illustrate this point.

In terms of Airbus's Cabin Flex door configurations, the developer provided the following list of features:

  • Choice of three additional exit configurations
  • Maximum number of passengers changes in accordance with the selected exit configurations
  • Doors system and DOOR page indications adapt to exit configuration
  • Separate 3D models for each exit configuration

Before purchasing the A321neo addon for your ToLiss A321, customers must update their aircraft to the latest version, as it acts as a pre-requisite to the new package. You can see the list of changes in that update in an earlier article.

You can purchase ToLiss' A321neo addon for $29.95 USD from the X-Plane.org Store. It must be stressed customers must already own the base A321 aircraft to access the A321neo expansion. The base pack can be had for $79.00 USD here.
