After two months of development, the Zibo 737-800X has been updated to version 3.38. This version is mainly focused on bug fixes with the addition of a few minor features including but not limited to an improved flight model by Twkster.

From its early days as a one-man project to the place it is now, the Zibo 737-800X has come a long way since its infancy which becomes further evident with the 3.38 feature list:

New features: 

- add 2 variants for Chrono

- add flap 10 bug on PFD

- add ND drawing code for Fix rings/radials

- add failures rapid depress, slowly depress, outflow/L pack/R pack/isolation valves, APU/ENG1/ENG2 airbleed valves, primary/alternate pressurisation unit

- add icon for pressurisation failures (thanks to JBrik)

- add warning for experimental flight model enabled

- add Alternate destination and Nearest airports pages to FMC

- add support for Terrain Radar plugin v1.8 by DrGluck

- add option Create custom data on EFB

Improvements and Fixes:

- improved AP servo code, LOW PRESSURE annunciates for fuel pumps, improved LVL CHG / VNAV SPD code

- rewrited code for read airport data (Delete files B738X_apt.dat, B738X_rnw.dat and B738X_gate.dat for rebuild database)

- tuned indicated airspeed

- changed code for de-ice "drag"

- improved AP servo code, LOW PRESSURE annunciates for fuel pumps, improved LVL CHG / VNAV SPD code

- rewrited code for read airport data (Delete files B738X_apt.dat, B738X_rnw.dat and B738X_gate.dat for rebuild database)

- corrected VR hotspots and FMOD sound positions

- corrected AP, AT disconnect (AP, AT stays engaged when stick shaker is activated)

- fixed add STAR/APP during fly arrival/approach

- fixed entry cruise altitude

- fixed low level AP pitch mode (LVL CHG -> V/S,...)

- fixed graphics bugs (BARO/RADIO minimum on PFD, EICAS...)

- fixed oxygen masks (captain/first officier) for higher altitude

- fixed bugs (T/D missing, TCAS - show correct distance for planes in CTR mode, DME only navaid, center fuel pumps, draw route on ND, sound for some light switches, FMC, typo...)

In addition to this full feature list, Zibo included an important warning for X-Plane 11.40 users which is important to point out:

Caution: "Create custom data on EFB" -> Use on own risk only !!! You lost previous saved user nav data!!! If you have option set to ON (you need set to ON and save settings): It will create file "user_nav.dat" located in folder "Custom Data" for ILS from nav data source "Custom Data" (for ex. Navigraph) after load plane. You need restart Xplane after file is created (you will see warning on EFB - Restart Xplane). It will create automatically file after update nav data in folder "Custom data". This file affect to Xplane nav data (all planes will use those nav data). For revert back to default Xplane nav data: Set option to OFF, save settings, delete file "user_nav.dat" located in folder "Custom Data" and restart Xplane.
