PMDG Publishes Development Update for MSFS 2024
PMDG has recently published a new development update concerning the arrival of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s Sim Update 2 and what it means to their product line and upcoming updates.

According to Robert Randazzo, the update caught them off guard as they were preparing an update to make the 777F compatible with 24 and another update for the newly released 777-200ER (for both platforms). They were already getting the cloud services to distribute the files, but SU2 has temporarily halted it.

The new SDK changes with SU 2 introduce a bunch of auditing features that threw many warnings on their 777, which they had to spend plenty of time (until this morning) fixing. However, as they don’t want any extra surprises, it was decided that it would be best to send the update over to the testing team to make sure everything is okay before actually rolling out an update.
They anticipate the 777F going live on Monday for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024; the same applies to the 777-200ER update.
The 777-300ER update for MSFS 2024 is still on track for next week, even though they ran into this little roadblock with the 777F.
