A2A Simulations Releases Native Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for MSFS 2024

A2A Simulations has recently released a native build of their Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, including new 2024-only features such as the new EFB apps, dirt accumulation, and more.

The upgrade brings native 2024 gauges, a native 2024 EFB with charts and other apps, a full walkaround system using 2024’s standards, dirt accumulation on the exterior, dual PMS/TDS GTN 750/650 configuration, time compression support, and much more. The complete feature list follows below:

  • Brand-new Accu-Sim 2.0 “Merlin” external aerodynamics engine, developed from a clean slate
  • Performance accuracy based on many years of operating A2A’s own Comanche 250 (N6229P)
  • Exceptional aircraft feel, handling, and trim behaviour driven by extensive real-world flight testing
  • Full physics-based per-cylinder simulation of the Lycoming O-540-A engine
  • Advanced engine starter simulation that physically turns the engine through compression cycles
  • Authentic fuel system modelling fuel lines, primer, strainers, and contamination
  • Custom oil system with dynamic viscosity, degradation, and colour changes over time
  • Detailed JPI EDM-830 engine monitor with authentic displays and leaning procedures
  • Graphical tablet-based engine analyser providing deep insight into piston engine operation
  • Dynamic ground physics with true weight-on-wheels modelling and tyre side-loading
  • Realistic response to different runway and surface types
  • Advanced turbulence response and subtle wing flex based on airflow, bumps, and fuel load
  • Sophisticated airframe vibration physics with unique ground roll and engine-driven effects
  • Physics-driven sound environment with hundreds of dynamic sound effects
  • Fully native MSFS2024 model and gauges with optimised LODs
  • Native MSFS2024 EFB integration, allowing the tablet to display charts and supported EFB apps
  • Full MSFS2024 walkaround system with many interactive and inspectable components
  • Persistent exterior dirt accumulation between flights
  • Beautifully rendered exterior and interior with subtle wear effects and advanced animations
  • Dynamic aircraft registration decals
  • Custom-coded Narco avionics stack, including COM/NAV, DME, transponder, audio panel, and ADF
  • Narco NS-800 RNAV configuration for classic, non-GPS RNAV flying
  • Century NSD-360A HSI with custom needle-smoothing physics
  • Advanced simulation of the S-TEC System 30 two-axis autopilot
  • Optional STEC ST-901 GPSS module for GPS-coupled autopilot operation
  • Flexible GPS integration options: MSFS / Working Title GNS 430W & 530W, PMS GTN 750/650, and TDS GTNxi 750/650
  • Optional Asobo G5 electronic instrument retrofit
  • Fully customisable persistent aircraft with adjustable wear and failure simulation
  • Pilot’s tablet for intuitive aircraft configuration and management
  • Real-time load manager with dynamic weight and balance indication
  • Electrical system analyser with functional circuit breakers
  • Two naturally animated rear-seat passengers and support for native MSFS avatars in the front seats
  • Support for time compression and other quality-of-life improvements
  • Fluid in-sim performance comparable to default aircraft of the same class

It’s available in their store for $49.99, and owners of the MSFS 2020 version can upgrade for a discounted price ($14.99). The upgrade is not mandatory, and the previous version will continue to work in 2024, albeit without the new features.
