Yesterday, alongside the feature drop for their Beluga On The Line product, iniSimulations has published the official trailer of their V2 update for the A300, bringing feature parity to their most modern offerings, the Beluga and the A310. The trailer reveals a range of new features and refinements to many others, including one in particular that stands out - the addition of CPDLC brought over from the A310, and a significant rejuvenation of the entire 3D model of the aircraft.

iniSimulations has not yet released a full comprehensive list of the upcoming upgrades and fixes, although has hinted to a certainly detailed and complex list to come.

A quite significant list, considered that it is dramatically broadened.

The development team made their debut into the X-Plane aircraft scene not so long ago with the A300 back in August 2020, and in a year, they’ve launched two sibling products, a major feat in such a short span of time. Now that the A310 and Beluga are maturing, the team turned their attention back to the A300 to retrofit the add-on with all the new additions that were introduced in the later planes. The team has set a strong foot in the X-Plane community, with arguably one of the nicest airbus’ for the current simulator.

iniSimulation has already revealed that, as usual, the update would be entirely free for buyers of the A300. The trailer is in indication that the v2 is coming in the near future, but has stopped short of confirming a release date, although there are unconfirmed rumours of it being released around the end of 2021 to first quarter 2022 window.
