Aerosoft Postpones CRJ Release to Q1 2021

In a sombre post on the group's forum, Mathijs Kok of Aerosoft has announced that the company's first aircraft product for Microsoft Flight Simulator - the Bombardier CRJ Family - will be delayed into the first quarter of 2021.

The supposed delay will be to allow the developer more time to deliver a complete product for customers upon launch.

Kok says of the postponement that the 'decision wasn't easy for us, because we know how much anticipation there is in the community for this add-on.'

"We have decided to do so, because we want to deliver a CRJ that meets all expectations, but we have not reached this level yet. We need more time for the development and beta testing."

"We hope the additional time allows us to complete the necessary work to provide the highest quality and the best possible experience for you right from the start."

As a method of tiding users over until release, a new teaser was also made available which despite its relatively short 31 second length, showed the aircraft in most stages of flight.
