A popular spot to go camping and fishing, Lake Michigan has some of the best freshwater fishing in the United States. The 820 Acre island is beautifully recreated, with close proximity to Chalevoix, just 26 miles East and the iconic Sleeping Bear Dunes sitting 40 miles to the South.

South Fox Island has a 5,500'x90' asphalt runway and can handle most private aircraft and cargo charters; A private island, you will need to receive permission before landing here if you're flying recreationally. The distance between South Fox Island and North Fox Island is a short 5 miles away, with South Fox providing Jet A and 100LL fuel trucks on standby.
