Axonos Announces Memphis International for X-Plane

Following a single teaser image of the airport released by the development group last week, Axonos has taken to he X-Plane.org Forums to formally announce Memphis International (KMEM) for X-Plane.

Little detail was has been given by the developer thus far, but it was written that the airport had been “developed to the highest standard and with no detail spared, featuring crisp colour-balanced custom aerial imagery, custom underground highways”.

It was also added that the airport “combines the latest X-Plane 11 technologies” making it the perfect location for your next cargo flight.

Memphis is a major cargo link, especially for FedEx, which calls the airport their home base. Because of the major cargo operations, the airport ranked as the 5th busiest in the United States in the year 2020.

Axonos has been in the X-Plane community for a long time, with their founding roots under the development name “Just Asia”. After rebranding to their current name Axonos, the developer has now released 2 airports under the brand, Casablanca and Perth.
