Following the release of Teesside at the start of the month, Boundless Simulations have announced Bournemouth Airport for X-Plane 11. With a wide range of domestic and international routes, the airport is an important hub for airlines including TUI, EasyJet and Ryanair.

Bournemouth Airport also played a key role in the Covid-19 pandemic as it was used for temporary storage of multiple British Airways aircraft.

Boundless Simulations was formed in the Spring of 2020 and since then they have released over 6 different airports. At the start of 2021 they partnered with IniBuilds to bring products to MSFS and further expand their development.  

Alongside the announcement came a list of features that Boundless is including in their rendition of Bournemouth Airport:

• 2020 HD Ortho covering airport and immediate area
• HD custom road traffic
• HD custom airport vehicles (static and animated)
• Animated marshallers
• Full custom night lighting
• Open hangars
• HD, PBR building textures
• HD, PBR static Airline, GA and scrapped aircraft
• 3D Grass and vegetation
