Following last week’s teasers, Carenado has released its classic, steam-gauge Cessna 172, for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Carenado's rendition models the very original, early-production lineage from 1956, which pre-dates the modern Skyhawk.

Expect a cabin full of round dials, a period interior, and short-field friendly flap travel, which sets it apart from the default 172S in MSFS 2024. The aircraft comes in several variants, including with and without wheel covers.

If you enjoy steam gauges, pattern work, and low-and-slow sightseeing, this looks like a nice addition.
