Captain7 Nuremberg for X-Plane: Beta Testing Underway

It’s been a quiet year from Captain7 both on the X-Plane front and in general, with the developer taking what he calls a “social detox” while focusing on development of various airports, primarily for Prepar3D, but also one – Nuremberg – for X-Plane.

The German developer’s X-Plane move was announced in January this year following the successful debut of EDDN in ESP-platform circles, where the scenery was hailed for its high quality.

In a post on the Captain7 Facebook page, the developer gives a short update on his first efforts developing for X-Plane (this excerpt has been translated from German and edit for clarity):

“EDDN Nuremberg for X-Plane: Somehow EDDN always means long development times! But yes, beta tests are already underway.

“The scenery port is done by our colleagues at Stairport Sceneries and the first test version is looking really great! I'm sure that a release date will be revealed soon.”

There are currently no previews of the scenery in X-Plane, thus Prepar3D screenshots have been used in this article, though Threshold will keep you posted on any new developments out of Captain7.
