Airborne Previews of Cerro Torre/Fitz Roy by Frank Dainese & Fabio Bellini

The dynamic duo of Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini are working hard on their next X-Plane scenery, based around the Argentine National Park of Glaciers and specifically the peaks of Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy. The completely new X-Plane version traces inspiration from Frank's freeware version for FSX and Prepar3D, which is now 4 years old.

In a post on his blog, Frank details what's happened since the last update:

"Definitively positioned the 2 giants [of] the scenery. It was not easy, Fabio was very good at changing the mesh and make all the points of the model coincide with the ground. I remember that the modifications to the mesh completely reset all the default features (roads, vegetation, buildings ...) that must be completely rebuilt. No orthophotos were used but polygons/textures adapted to the type of terrain."
