Aerosoft is gearing up in anticipation for another popular release in the aircraft add-on market with the announcement of the pricing for their upcoming CRJ 900/1000 for MSFS. In the post, Mathijs Kok stated that there would be multiple packages in which the CRJ 900/1000 can be bought, aside from purchasing the extension itself, prospective pilots would be able to purchase a bundle of both the CRJ 550/700 as well as the CRJ 900/1000. With the pricing being announced, it could be hinting that the CRJ expansion is towards a potential release.

The two new aircraft are an expansion pack for the Aerosoft CRJ-550/700, which was released at the beginning of 2021 and was the first airliner released for MSFS. The CRJ-550/700 is entirely tailored to the new simulator; it features brand new visuals, developed from the ground-up and bears no commonality with the Digital Aviation product for P3D. Combined with its reasonably in-depth systems, it turned into one of the most popular MSFS add-ons seen to date.

Aerosoft hasn’t shown a lot on the CRJ 900/1000 apart from a few pictures of the exterior, but if the CRJ 550/700 is anything to go by, it’s reasonable to think that the add-on will become popular in a matter of hours. Furthermore, Aerosoft has confirmed that multiple liveries will be included upon the CRJ 900/1000’s release, some of these liveries include SAS, Hop!, and SkyWest.

Aerosoft has confirmed that the expansion can be bought both individually for €16,80, and as a package with all CRJ variants for €58,82. Despite the pricing announcement, Aerosoft has yet to announce a release date for the product. The original post can be found on the Aerosoft forums.
