Contrail Announces FA50 for MSFS 2020/2024
At the #FSExpoFriday event during FlightSimExpo 2025, Contrail founder Lars Pinkenburg announced that the team is currently developing the FA50 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This aircraft will be the first one developed in-house by Contrail.
The Dassault Falcon 50, known for its tri-engine design, has been utilised by both private and military operators globally. This aircraft is certified to reach altitudes of up to 49,000 feet and is capable of flying both transcontinental and transoceanic routes.

The addon will be equipped with fully customised avionics systems, including the GNSXLS Flight Management System, the Apollo MX20 MFD, the Collins Electronic Flight Information System suite, and a dedicated custom autopilot. Currently, the aircraft is set to feature 18 different liveries. While the price has not yet been determined, it is expected to be released in 2025.

We will keep you updated as soon as the team shares new information.
