Uber popular, air traffic control network VATSIM has announced the date for their upcoming Cross The Pond Westbound.

The date of the event was shown off on the official VATSIM CTP website after it was updated today.

Cross The Pond is an annual event held on the VATSIM network where users fly a fully manned crossing from one side of the Atlantic ocean to the other.

The event consists of two crossings every year, once Westbound and once Eastbound. The Westbound event normally happens in the first half of the year, with the Eestbound falling in the second half.

Cross The Pond Westbound 2020 will take place on the 4th of April at 1100Z. No further details have been posted about event airports or when slot bidding will open as of so far.
