DDEN Challenger 300 Gets Librain Integration

Russian aircraft developer DDEN has released a small update to his Challenger 300 business jet. This comes following a resurgence in online presence, with new previews of his upcoming Global 6000 surfacing just a few weeks ago.

The update was announced in a post on the X-Plane.org forums on Tuesday:

Changes in version V2.013:

  • Added LibRain plugin support
  • Added latest Terrain Plugin functionality support (TAWS test mode)
  • Added script for additional commands, called "newcommands.lua". Custom commands can be added to it.
  • SASL plugin updated to version 2.6.1

You can update to the latest version, 2.013, by downloading the patch from here.

The aforementioned Global 6000 is also well underway, even with a long absence of news from the project. In a post on the development thread back in January, DDEN said the following;

"I have to rebuild the plane for the second time, first it was materials and textures for xp11, now I'm migrating to 3dsmax exporter tool. Also it seems I will have to rewrite SASL 2 scripts to some other plugin, maybe SASL 3 or make my own C++ plugin, not sure yet.

It takes time, and I don't have many of it. But don't worry, I am still working on the plane and it will be released some day."
