iniBuilds Updates Dubai International Airport for MSFS

iniBuilds recently issued an update to their rendition of Dubai International Airport (OMDB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, which includes performance improvements, VRAM overhead reduction, bug fixes, and more.

v1.0.2 focuses on improving the scenery’s performance, with LOD optimizations for every airport building, texture updates to reduce the VRAM overhead, a parallax option for interiors, ground service equipment position fixes, a PAPI fix on runway 30L, lighting fixes, new approach lighting on all runways, and more scenery config options. The complete changelog follows below:

- Overhaul of performance of terminal buildings - LODs, instancing etc
- LOD optimisation for all building models
- Texture review to reduce VRAM overhead
- Added option to remove some interiors and replace with parallax textures
- Updated Scenery Config Options - iniManager
- Dubai Freezone LOD1 texture issue
- Mid-terminal lighting issue
- Replaced approach and threshold lighting on all runways
- Glowing catering trucks
- Missing lighting in some places
- Disappearing terminal parts at certain angles (Concourse C)
- Fixed some rotated taxi signs
- VIP Jetways not connecting properly
- Remote parking near Terminal 2 are missing "stairs" option
- Doubled street on satellite image
- Adjusted PAPI on 30L to better match ILS GS
- Replaced people models with new versions
- Some misplaced GSE

The scenery is available on the iniBuilds Store for roughly $17.90 (currently on sale), requiring at least 4.44 GB of free hard disk space to install.
