Despite initial signs that Newcastle would be simultaneously released for X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator, Orbx has gone ahead with the former and released the house-made scenery for Laminar's sim today.

Prior to last week, Newcastle had undergone a sustained period of silence on the X-Plane front, having been announced over a year ago at Flight Sim Show 2019 in Cosford.

The developer provided the following feature list for the scenery:
