SSG E-Jets Updated to v1.5

The Supercritical Simulations Group has updated their E-Jets to version 1.5 recently, bringing to the Embraers a number of 'improvements' in the cockpit.

The change list is split into 'improvements' and 'fixes' on the X-Plane.org Store, with bug fixes coming to correct 'actuator baro with drag not working properly', an issue with standard instrument departures where the route would disappear from the ND after takeoff and also a couple of issues with the E-Jets' VNAV functionality.

In terms of new improvements in v1.5, the primary flight display's horizon has been improved, with the heading situation indicator having seen similar 'improvements'.

The Embraers are now 8.33 mhz aware, allowing for tuning of more precise radio frequencies for online networks such as VATSIM, and perhaps biggest of all for this update, bringing the E-Jets virtual reality compatibility.

A list of the other changes was also provided:

  • Improved PFD's Horizons
  • Improved HSI  that is heading up like Navigation display.
  • Improved COM radios that now is  .833mhz XXX.XXX
  • Improved flight dynamics for xp11.50
  • Improved Lateral navigation
  • Improved cockpit visual with some new 3d objects.
  • Improved E-170 land gear wheels
  • VR Ready and VR friendly

SSG have created two variants of the E-Jet family - the E170 and E195, which have both been updated today. Individually, they cost $34.90 USD (link for E170 -- link for E195).

A package deal is also available, retailing at $39.90 USD, which can be had on the X-Plane.org Store.
