FlyTampa Releases Copenhagen for X-Plane

After a relatively short pre-release period of just two weeks, FlyTampa has released their latest scenery for Laminar's sim, a conversion of that for Prepar3D: Copenhagen.

The short period between announcement and release saw one preview set published, showing more of the terminal area than the debut Facebook teaser, which simply showed the Øresund Bridge rising from the uniquely X-Plane sunset.

FlyTampa's Copenhagen for X-Plane utilises the following features:

  • Airport modeled with PBR materials
  • 3D bridges, Animated vehicles & trains
  • Sloped airport terrain
  • Copenhagen city fully modeled
  • Hand-placed vegetation, and 3D lighting
  • High Resolution surrounding Photo Scenery with custom mesh
  • Dynamic lighting, animated Jetways and VDGS

This marks the international scenery brand's fifth scenery for X-Plane, following the release of Athens and Thessaloniki at the end of last year. The developer affirmed in late 2019 that Amsterdam in the same breath as Copenhagen would also be converted to X-Plane 11, though there has been little to report on that development since.

You can purchase FlyTampa's Copenhagen for X-Plane for $31.00 USD from the developer's web store.
