FlightFactor has announced a new update for their Airport Visual System (AVS). AVS is an On-Board Airport Navigation System (OANS) and can display interactive maps for most airports around the world. FlightFactor announced this upcoming update in a Twitter post today

There will be a new Navigraph integration, pop-out window support, and many bug fixes.

Users can use AVS in their favorite X-Plane 11 plane. It offers the opportunity to view taxiways, stands and much more. It's also possible to plan a route which will then displayed in the included menu.

Navigraph is a commercial service for flight simmers where subscriptions can be bought for charts and FMS data. It costs $9.88 per month and you can also use it in an interactive mobile app and web app. Further information about Navigraph is available to view here.

AVS can be purchased at the x-plane.org store here. It costs $24.95.
