FlightFactor Ships Out 757 and 767 Updates

FlightFactor has updated their Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft lineup to introduce compatibility with Honeycomb Aeronauticals Bravo Throttle Quadrant, and other various bug fixes and improvements to help aid in both realism, stability,  and overall flight experience in the sim itself.

First on the list is the Boeing 757 Professional series. Today, Flight Factor has brought versioning of the aircraft to v2.5.3. Starting off, the development team has released a Bravo Throttle Quadrant profile in the Aerosoft store, announcing full compatibility from hardware to sim, another feature is the MCP  support which also comes with the Honeycomb profile and is compatible with other hardware pieces as well. Another few small components are the FF livery now ships with the download of the aircraft. To add on, various systems have been reworked to a more realistic liking with reworks such as EMER LIGHT priority, to Exterior power button behavior. A full list on the update for the 757 has been provided:

  • added new community designed FlightFactor House livery (Thank you community for design, Thank you @Turtle for implementation) 
  • added honeycomb BRAVO profiles (improved from Aerosoft website) see DOCs folder
  •  added MCP commands for multiselector type hardware (Honeycomb, TCA...) 
  • some fixes for 757 winglets 
  • changed EMER LIGHTS message priority 
  • changed APU self test behaviour 
  • changed EXT PWR button behaviour 
  • improved color of some gauges flags (RMI, ASA, etc) 
  • fixed RMI VOR needles - fixed a bug with fire handle discharge angle 
  • fixed beacon lights position 
  • FPDS: fixed from/to triangle pos for from case 
  • Reduced the number of cases, when product asks for re-activation without product update

For the Boeing 767 Professional, the aircraft is updated to version 1.4.3. With very similar updates to its 757 counterpart, the 767 got a few special additions and updates, with updated liveries for the 767-SF aircraft with the addition of the FlightFactor livery. Another small update that is exclusive to the 767 is the addition of fuel jettison particles only with fixes to improve lighting in the 3d cockpit. Like the 757, a full update list was provided:

  • added new SF (UPS, VA X-Airways, CARGOJET, DHL) liveries to the Cargo liveries pack (redownload it from the store) 
  • added honeycomb BRAVO profiles (improved from Aerosoft website) see DOCs folder 
  • added MCP commands for multiselector type hardware (Honeycomb, TCA...) 
  • added fuel jettison particles 
  • changed the GE starter cutout N1 
  • made minor graphical changes to the EICAS 
  • changed EMER LIGHTS message priority 
  • changed APU self test behaviour 
  • changed EXT PWR button behaviour 
  • tuned high altitude high weight climb 
  • improved color of some gauges flags (RMI, ASA, etc) 
  • fixed RMI VOR needles - fixed a bug with fire handle discharge angle 
  • fixed 3D cockpit bugs with emer lights and ELT protectors 
  • fixed SF mirror texture issue on the fuselage 
  • fixed some visual issues with SF fuselage 
  • fixed cockpit and cabin floor shadows 
  • FPDS: fixed from/to triangle pos for from case 
  • Reduced the number of cases when product asks for re-activation without product update
