FlyingIron Simulations Releases the Grob G109B

A change from their lineup of military aircraft, FlyingIron Simulations has now released the Grob G109B for X-Plane 11. The aircraft is a motorised glider with the capacity for two people, with a maximum takeoff weight of 850 kg.

The rendition of the motorised glider was announced at the start of September, and followed up a week later with an update. In the post, FlyingIron said that FMOD is the most difficult part to making the aircraft, whilst also giving a mention to their existing aircraft regarding a future update to each.

Then a fortnight later, a second development update was published, mainly with regards to the successful implementation of state-saving features. Some of these include a professional flight model, incredibly detailed 3D artwork and texturing, persistent state-saving and sounds recorded from the real aircraft.

The result of their efforts is now available to purchase from the FlyingIron Simulations website for $49.95 AUD or from the Threshold Store for $34.95 USD.
