Aerosoft's Frankfurt Airport for MSFS Release Date Revealed
Aerosoft has recently published the third part of their Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) interview series, showcasing more of the upcoming scenery, answering questions about an eventual port to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and the product's official release date: September 5th.
Developed by Jo Erlend Sund and his team, the Frankfurt rendition was announced during FSExpo 2023. Aerosoft has been updating us with development progress reports on their official landing page for the scenery and via their YouTube channel.
The busiest airport in Germany, with a yearly average of 59 million passengers, will land in the virtual realm of Microsoft Flight Simulator on Thursday, September 5th. That day, the development team, content creators, and others will attend an official launch party with questions and answers.
There's not much information about the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 port other than the fact that it will happen. The timeframe is unknown, given that it is not known yet whether it will take a lot of work to port MSFS 2020 stuff over, but the developers are excited to get their hands on the new SDK.
