Flight Sim Development Group Previews Mauritius

Flight Sim Development Group's (FSDG) has announced Mauritius for X-Plane through two words, an emoji and an image on their Facebook page.

"It's gorgeous. 😎" wrote the developer on Facebook. Although the image and description doesn't fully confirm X-Plane development, a reply to a user's comment confirmed otherwise.

The reply is to a user asking whether an update is due for Mauritius. FSDG's response reads: "Updated FSX & P3D version as well as new XP version."

Mauritius is an island nation consisting of a few islands in the Indian Ocean. FSDG's representation does not include Rodrigues, although the aforementioned update may include this island.

Mauritius' hub for aviation is that of Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (FIMP). It consists of a single runway 11,000 feet in length, and its new terminal, opened in 2013, consists of five gate with airbridges and can accommodate the Airbus A380.

As of time of writing, FSDG has six airports available for X-Plane, available to purchase at their store. Their selection stretches from Cape Town in South Africa, to Graz in Austria.
