FlightSimScandinavia has provided Threshold with previews of their exclusive upcoming rendition of Scandinavian Mountains Airport (ESKS). As the name suggests, the airport is located within the Scandinavian Alpine Region.

ESKS was only opened in December 2019, so it is very recent. It’s planned to maintain scheduled and chartered services, more specifically aimed at ferrying passengers for the surrounding Ski Resorts Sälen, Idre and Trysil.

Scandinavian Mountains Airport the first new airport to open in Sweden since 1999. Currently there are only two airlines who are planned to service this airport, Scandinavian and Braathens Regional Airlines, both of which start between late 2019 and early 2020.

• The terminal is clearly textured, 
• Very little ground clutter
• All objects are custom made

There is currently no set release date for this airfield, but Threshold will keep you updated.
