FeelThere Releases LAX for MSFS

Feelthere continues their coverage of accessible custom airport renditions with the release of Los Angeles Intl. Airport, better known as LAX for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The company is well known in the flight simulation space for its wide breadth of products ranging from aircraft, programs, and scenery.

Los Angeles International Airport needs little introduction, it is also known by its IATA code, LAX, and is an international airport located in Los Angeles County, California. It serves mainly the city of Los Angeles and its metropolitan area. It is situated 30 km from downtown Los Angeles, and positions as one of the busiest airports in the world, being ranked the fifth-busiest airport globally in terms of passengers, having handled 87.53 million passengers and 2.45 million tons of cargo in 2018. Lax serves a wide range of operations between national and international carriers, with flights originating from all over the world; Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

FeelThere has included a very small but to the point feature list that includes.

  • Parallax texturing on windows
  • Custom ground lines and buildings
  • Highly detailed textures, Physically Based Rendering (PBR), reflective and realistic textures

As inexpensive as this airport is, this will draw some interesting comparisons given that there is already a rather decent default rendition of the airport. You can find this scenery on FeelThere’s website and is listed at USD 9.99. You can also explore FeelThere’s collection of add-on’s for Tower3D and their E-Jets for Prepar3D.
