Scenery developer Gaffer Simulations has released their rendition of Durban King Shaka International Airport. The airport, originally a Prepar3D product, was announced via Facebook earlier this summer.
The release was announced on a Facebook post and the airport can be purchased on simMarket. Owners of the Prepar3D versions of O.R. Tambo International Airport and King Shaka International Airport are entitled to a specified upgrade price.
As of yet, no information regarding the features of the Microsoft Flight Simulator version has been disclosed.
Durban King Shaka International Airport (IATA: DUR, ICAO: FALE) serves Durban, South Africa. Opening to passengers in 2010, King Shaka Intl. sees an average movement of 2.8 million passengers per year. The airport started construction in 1973, but had many halts due to severe weather and an economic slowdown. The 3,700 meter runway at FALE mainly welcomes South African, British Airways, and Emirates aircraft.
