GayaSimulation Announces Courchevel (LFLJ)

The infamous ski resort airfield Courchevel is coming to X-Plane courtesy of GayaSimulation. Located high in the French Alps, Courchevel offers a unique challenge to pilots, with a sloped runway leading directly into the side of a mountain.

The airport became famous for clips such as these.

In a post on the group's Facebook page, GayaSim developers show off some of their early progress on the airport.

"Photo from the developing process - You can see the hand-painted asphalt and some more WIP images. All will be PBR of course. I'v just made a touch and go there and it's just feel A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! More info- the scenery will include a very big amount of points of interests (POI). Release date- we plan to release it during March."

GayaSimulation now have two X-Plane projects on the go at the moment, with Courchevel joining Brussels Airport (EBBR) and the already released Genoa (LIMJ) in their line of XP products.
