HADG officially debuts with freeware E-120 project

X-Plane has seen pop ups of E-120 projects through its lifetime, it only feels like yesterday, but the most notable at the time prior to Dreamfoil's announcement was the E-120 project by Cekko launched in 2012. In 2015, the second E-120 project was announced by Richmond Forsen, or 'VETTE' in the .org forums. Both projects were in development, and some members between two projects co-assisted each other. Other than that, talk of a future E-120 sounds bleak until Dreamfoil unveiled their E-120.

It seems that VETTE has reignited the flames for his E-120 project, and invites the community to join the project's developer as a community effort. The aircraft is to be released under a new team name called "High Alpha Development Group"! We've recently obtained a copy of HADG's press release regarding their E-120 project. This news entry is a paraphrased version of the press release.

_____

Being Richmond/VETTE's first aircraft project, he has little knowledge of aircraft development, that coupled with hectic real life commitments- the project has met several setbacks. During the way, Ryan Badger has come to the team, with no other development skills other than livery painting. With the arrival of Ryan, "High Alpha Development Group" has been informally established.

The project has received help from many community members, including Ghansen (known for his freeware Gulfstream IV), DMO (known for his payware S-92 Sikorsky), and a number of real world EMB-120 pilots.

Finally, after 4 years of development with little to no discussion outside of one forum thread, the High Alpha Development team is proud to officially announce our freeware Embraer 120 project.

Features:

  • Detailed 3D model
  • Realistic flight characteristics
  • Multiple liveries
  • Checklists and documentation
  • Realistic avionics

Planned:

  • FMOD sounds

This has been a community project since day one. If any member of the community wishes to be involved with the development of this aircraft, the teamwelcome you to message them on their Facebook page found here: www.facebook.com/HighAlphaDevelopment
