Orbx Releases Hammerfest Airport (ENHF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Earlier this week, Orbx Simulations have released its rendition of Hammerfest Airport (ENHF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery will bring the area to life with high-quality PBR textures, custom interiors, and custom modeled Hammerfest cityscape.

In typical MSFS fashion, Orbx equips the airport with the usual features one typically sees such as custom satellite imagery for the airport and surrounds, highly detailed LNG facilities, and all objects are modelled with detail and treated with a fresh coat of PBR texturing, in addition, custom approach lighting is implemented for the airport’s runway 22. The  full list of features can be found on Orbx’s product page.

Hammerfest Airport is located next to the town of the same name, the area is known to be “the northernmost town in the world with more than 10,000 residents”. The airport, situated on a plateau, “has a challenging approach onto a short, sloped runway” and is mainly served by Widerøe’s Dash8-100s.

Currently, Hammerfest Airport can be purchased on Orbx Direct for $16.61 USD. The developer recommends that users have at least 3.02GB of free space in order to successfully install the scenery.
