With development nearing completion, iniSimulations have released the trailer for their highly anticipated A310 ON THE LINE. With the teaser video for the aircraft being released at the end of June, They stated that a “Trailer would be landing soon”. 

The 2-minute long video showcased the main features that will be included in iniSimulations A310-300 ON THE LINE. The video started with some panoramic shots of the exterior model of the aircraft exhibiting the high detailed PBR textures. Next came a shot of the inside of the aircraft showcasing the Cabin Announcements and Mood Lighting. With that, we could see the animated TV screens displaying data straight from the sim.

Interior wise, iniSimulations also showcased the “High Detailed Interior''. Specifically, the aisle between rooms and the office space onboard the A310 ACJ. We can expect the same quality on both the Passenger and Freighter variants.

A new feature that was not included in the A300 was “Comprehensive Failures”. The trailer presents a Royal Jordanian Cargo having an engine fire, with an animated flame and the systems displaying the actions to extinguish the fire, this is a great feature for simmers to test their skills under pressure.

The A310 will include a “Takeoff & Landing Performance Calculator” that will allow pilots to generate accurate takeoff speeds onto some systems. Along with this, the EFB will also include an Autosave system, This is a must-have feature for doing Long and Short haul flights across the globe as in the case of a sim crash, pilots will be able to reload and continue with ease. Onto Avionics, the A310 will incorporate CPDLC, this will allow pilots to get PDC (Pre Departure Clearance) for flights and not have to talk to ATC. Another feature is the ability to obtain weather and airport information while in mid-air.

The final feature included in the trailer were the 3 variants set to in the release. Although users were expecting all 5 variants including the MRTT and Medevac, MJ stated in the Threshold Discord Server that the “Medevac and MRTT are still part of A310 package, just not in this release run. Few features we want to experiment with and didn't want to be rushed. Release in August.”

At the end of the trailer, iniSimulations stated that aircraft will be “Coming July 2021”. The A310 will be a stand-alone product but previous A300 owners will be able to get the A310 for 35% off.
