[Edited] iniBuilds Introduce iniDEV, Teases New Aircraft & Reassures Users of A380 Progress

[Edit 16:32 GMT] Roger39, who has been working on an Airbus A300-600, has confirmed the teased aircraft is indeed his. His prior work on the aircraft is available to view on x-plane.org, but significant work since then has clearly been undertaken.

An official announcement of the aircraft from iniBuilds has yet to be made however, which may contain more information.

Original article:

For quite some time, iniSimulations, a division of iniBuilds, has been working away on an Airbus A380 for X-Plane 11.

The latest previews were released in April, which looked towards the overhead panel and EFB.

A development update has been posted to a new section of their website, titled iniDEV, where the team will share information regarding development of their projects.

The team has confirmed progress on the A380 continues, but wanted to clarify their approach to communications with the community.

"May we start by confirming that the iniSimulations A380 is well underway and that we hope to update you on this in the near future," wrote iniBuilds.

"We know we promised a frank, and intimate relationship between us, the developers, and the community but we have decided to adjust our approach. We hope you can respect our decision with what we’re about to say below."

It was then stated a brand new product for X-Plane 11 was in the "final stages of development," which was accompanied with a single in-sim screenshot.

iniBuilds promised this will be a "revolutionary and important step forward for the X-Plane scene."

Further to this, iniBuilds announced the introduction of iniBuilds Working Group, which is to be an exclusive team of testers for the unannounced aircraft (above) and people who wish to work with the developer on their projects.

The developer has opened applications to everyone who wishes to join the iniBuilds Working Group. Applications must be completed by 19th February, and successful candidates will be notified of the outcome four days later.

The full update is available to view on the iniBuilds website.
