iniBuilds Releases Oklahoma City Airport for MSFS

IniBuilds has recently released the next airport in the Iniscene line, Oklahoma City Will Rogers Airport (KOKC), for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The Will Rogers airport is the busiest in the state of Oklahoma serving over 3.3 million passengers annually.

The airport started its life in 1911 as Oklahoma City Municipal Airport and served many squadrons of the United States Army Air Force during World War II. The airport was given its current name in 1941 in memory of Will Rogers, a famous comedian and cowboy native to Oklahoma.

Today the airport is home to several airlines and a few Oklahoma Air National Guard Wings. Southwest Airlines serves Will Rogers airport as a focus city serving over 10 destinations from the airport. United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Frontier all also serve the airport.

Features of this scenery include:

  • Hand-made ground textures with crisp, bespoke texture sets (Runways, aprons, paths, roads)
  •  True-to-life airport landside recreation with custom ground decals, signposts, vegetation, parking barriers and more
  •  Accurate logos, real-world decals and advertisements scattered throughout the airport to promote a true to life feeling
  • Fully modelled and detailed terminal interior with 'OKConnected' artwork and more recreated
  • Custom, hand-placed oil-wells and other unique details scattered throughout
  •  Correct airline-specific parking allocations and bespoke ground service equipment placed at each gate featuring plenty of containers and dollies

This airport can be picked up for £14.99 GBP ($18.15 USD) from the IniBuilds Store and will require roughly 4.87 Gb to install. Huge thanks to Tang0 on the Threshold Discord for bringing us this news scoop.
