JARDesign Shares Further Previews of Their A340-500

JARDesign seems to be nearing the end of the development of their A340 for X-Plane, the team took to facebook showcasing some liveries of the aircraft and the summer pricing, remember the key-word summer for later on

Originally announced back in April 2018 along with shared previews of the exterior modelling, the team has come a long way since then and is presumably nearing the final moments of development.

The announcement featured only four previews of the liveries but the full list in which are completed are; Air Canada, AZAL, BA, DHL, Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa, and Qatar.

JARDesign mentioned an intriguing fact, in that they published their “summer pricing” for their aircraft lineup… introducing a two tiered pricing with larger airliners (their existing A330 and this A340 is tagged with a fixed markup while the A320 is priced at 39$). Oddly enough, they included the A340 which may uphold the theory of the aircraft being released in the summer months, the A340 is slated to be sold for 59$.

To add, the team has also featured cockpit and cabin shots which showcased modelling, textures and ultimately, systems.

The many other pictures are viewable on the announcement, including lighting and other visual tidbits. The original post can be viewed on JARDesigns Facebook Feed. Stay tuned at Threshold for subsequent news on the JARDesign A340!
