Chudoba Design Releases Prague for X-Plane

As a result of over a year of development, Chudoba Design has released its rendition of Prague for X-Plane. Founded by Filip Chudoba, Chudoba Design is based in the town of Prague, meaning every small detail has been included in the developer’s largest airport to date. The developer shared a teaser video of the airport last week, on Saturday, at which point the release date of the product was also announced.

The airport features all the latest technologies expected for new sceneries such as custom SAM jetways and custom, handcrafted PBR ground textures. A new, unique feature to the scenery is the animated water cannon salute, which is toggleable via the SAM menu.

Chudoba Design originally shared Prague with an early estimated feature list in March 2020, and shortly after the developer started sharing previews of the airport. Previews were mainly shared in the developer’s Discord Server, where new, smaller development updates could be found almost daily.

Here’s the full feature list:

  • Custom ground with hand-crafted PBR textures
  • Custom SAM jetways and docking system
  • Detailed, custom PBR terminal buildings
  • Animated Water Salute
  • Custom PBR runways
  • Accurate HDR lightning
  • Custom HD orthophoto
  • High level of detail
  • Quick support team
  • Detailed manual in English, Czech, and German

Chudoba Design’s Prague is available for purchase, either from the developer’s own web store for 699 CZK, or from the iniBuilds store for £19.99 (excluding any applicable taxes).

The developer also stated that the scenery will be available on the X-Plane.org Store and SimMarket shortly after release.
