Laminar Research Releases 12.3.3 Hotfix for X-Plane 12‍

Laminar Research has recently released a hotfix for X-Plane 12 to address a few minor issues found in their latest release. 

The current iteration of X-Plane has been supported since December 2022. Since that time, many patches have been released, to fix bugs and expand on features. 

According to this round of patch notes, X-Plane 12.3.3 addresses an issue with the latest version of Nvidia's Graphics Driver, as well as addressing an instancing objects issue within the software development kit.

Mac users are also told to check that they have the latest installer version, 5.2.1.

Recent updates have focused on air traffic control, weather, cloud visuals, flight lessons, and general visual enhancements.

According to Laminar Research’s roadmap, version 12.4 will be a “C-Check”, focusing on systems and the user experience.

Fixes

Graphics

  • Fixed an issue when using NVIDIA Graphics Driver version 591.44

SDK

  • Fixed an issue when instancing objects using the SDK, this error seems to happen especially when using the Hot Start Challenger 650 (XPD-17441)\
