AFM M20 Collection v4.0 Enters Public Beta

Advanced Flight Modelling (often abbreviated as just AFM) have announced that version 4 of their first-released aircraft, the M20 Collection, has entered public beta testing. The group are also developing the Impulse 100 Pocket Rocket in partnership with Attitude Simulations under the name TORQUESIM.

In a post on the group's website, developer Cooper LeComp details what's planned for v4.0 and how you can get your hands on the first public beta version.

"We are excited to announce that we have begun the open beta process of the M20 Collection 4.0! This free update will bring many desired features, bugfixes, and X-Plane 11.30 full support to the M20 Collection. We will be starting the open-beta process addressing the bugs that have arisen, then moving on to fully utilizing the new X-Plane features in 11.30. We then will be adding in new exciting features including rain effects, Avitab support, and a revamped FMOD sound pack!"

You can check out the huge changelog/feature list for v4.0 on their Notion page here.

The public beta is available to all owners of the aircraft - to sign up, simply send the developer, Cooper (Coop#1019), a PM on Discord. He will then add you to the testing chat, where you can provide feedback.

You can purchase the AFM M20 Collection on the Threshold Store or via the AFM web store. To sign up for the beta, join the AFM server here.
