M’M Simulations Releases Ivalo Airport (EFIV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Earlier this week, scenery developer M’M Simulations released their latest product - Ivalo Airport (EFIV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport, designed to be an accurate recreation of its real life counterpart, will bring the users a taste of Scandinavian scenery, weather, and festivities.

TAccording to the developer’s website advertises that, the scenery will deliver an immersive experience to the users bringing with PBR textures, accurately modeled buildings and terminal interiors, “custom animated SimObjects”, realistic terraforming, and 3D passengers/workers that are scattered throughout the airport. Furthermore, M’M Simulations have added in seasonal decorations that will appear when the in-sim time is set to December.

EFIV, operated by Finavia and located around 11 kilometres from the city of Ivalo, is the main airport of Inari, Finland. It is famous for being Finland, as well as the EU’s, northernmost airport and being the gateway for tourists wishing to catch a glimpse of the northernlight. Airlines such as Finnair, Lufthansa, and Transavia serve the airport on a seasonal schedule.

Currently, Ivalo Airport can be purchased on simMarket or Aerosoft for €13 (excluding any taxes) and FlightSim.com or Flightsim.to for $15 USD.

For a smooth installation, the developer recommends that users have at least 1.72GB of free space on their hard drives.
