Orbx has announced their latest in-the-works project for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team takes us to Bella Coola Airport (CYBD), located in the Pacific Fjords of British Columbia. The package will include PBR texturing, custom vegetation and more.

While this scenery doesn’t seem to be a port over, Bella Coola Airport was also developed for the Prepar3D platform. This announcement follows the release of the Orbx’s Frankfurt City Pack, also for Microsoft Flight Simulator. 

The developer added that the scenery will feature the following:

• Airport and surrounding buildings have been hand-crafted with incredible detail and realism
• PBR textures throughout
• High-res custom ground poly
• True to life details, including vehicles, helipads, vegetation, and even a local bear

 “The airport, ground textures and surrounding buildings have been hand-crafted and include the true to life details, and includes PBR textures throughout and a high-res custom groundpoly” Orbx adds.

While no release date or pricing has been specified at this time, the scenery does seem to be completed for the most part. In the meantime, you can check out the original source on the Orbx Forum.
