Origami Studios Gatwick Releasing February 12th for X-Plane

After originally announcing their London Gatwick (EGKK) scenery back in mid-January, Origami Studios have today confirmed that the scenery will be releasing on February 12th via the iniBuilds store.

Origami's EGKK came as an incredibly exciting announcement, with the community longing for an updated Gatwick scenery for X-Plane for quite some time, with the latest rendition of the airport being released by UK2000 back in 2018.

According to iniBuilds, “Origami Studios has gone to painstaking detail to bring a modern interpretation of Gatwick.” The scenery will feature exciting features such as 4K PBR ground textures, compatibility with SAM, “an updated 2019-2020 configuration” of the airport, and more.   • Custom 3D terminal buildings, including complex high-quality renditions of north and south terminal
  • Updated 2019 - 2020 layout including new Boeing hanger, new A380 gate and Pier 6 extension constructions

  • Custom Safegates based on published data

While the release date has been confirmed for the 12th, no pricing information has been confirmed thus far.
