As the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 release is scheduled to be in a little less than 21 days, Orbx has released a statement on the compatibility of their products with the upcoming simulator. 

Even though existing FS20 addons should work out-of-the-box in FS24, the new simulator will bring loads of new features that many developers may want to utilise. One of them is Orbx. In the forum post, they stated that the product transition will be smooth, but will take some time. The most recent and popular sceneries will be the priority during the transition.

Another detail that was mentioned in the statement was the upgrade fee. In case the product update will take some advantages of the FS24, the customers may expect a small upgrade fee.
