PacSim Developing Cleveland for Microsoft Flight Simulator, More to Follow

Pacific Islands Simulation's newest project, Cleveland-Hopkins Airport, is set to be the first to come to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 when it releases next month.

It's the second time the new platform has been addressed, following a hint from October 2019 where they said development from then on would focus on Microsoft's Flight Simulator.

The subject was addressed today in a Facebook post, which confirmed that Cleveland will now be developed in parallel for Prepar3D v4 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

"We have been privileged to have participated in various Alphas and current closed Beta tests, and were given access to the Software Development Kit (SDK) to also begin third party product development work.

"All PacSim products will be transferred eventually to MSFS20 as well."

The images of Cleveland shared today were from the Prepar3D v5 version of the scenery, not from FS2020.

This comes as the latest announcement from a major developer regarding their intentions for the new simulator, which have come at a rate of almost daily since the announcement of Microsoft Flight Simulator's release date, set for the 18th of August.
