WF Scenery Studio Previews Shanghai Pudong Scenery for MSFS

Earlier this week, multi-sim developer WF Scenery Studio took to their Facebook page to release a series of previews depicting its upcoming Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The published pictures showcases bespoke work done. on the modelling, and texturing in-sim. Shanghai Pudong will follow their equally impressive rendition of Chek Lap Kok Airport (VHHH) in Hong Kong.

There is no further information from the facebook post, and the developer provided no indication on the project's stage. However, from the previews, we can see that the exterior modelling including the ramp, terminals, and airport surroundings, textures, and lighting have largely been finished. No feature list has yet been published.

Shanghai Pudong Airport, located around 30km outside Shanghai centre, is the city’s main international airport. Home of some 104 airlines, the airport has served some 74 million passengers in 2018, marking it one of the busiest airports in the world. The city is China's main Financial hub, while Beijing serves as the country's main political seat.

Currently, WF Scenery Studio have not revealed a release date or pricing for the scenery. However, judging by the developer’s previous products, ZSPD will likely be sold at around EUR 20/USD 24. Existing users of the airport’s P3D edition will likely receive a discount.
