Aircraft developer RuSky Group has released their next product for X-Plane 11, the TAF Sling 2. The product is a “hyper-realistic simulation of the Sling 2”, and includes unique features such as engine maintenance and first person walking system.

A feature list has been provided by the developer, which reads as follows:

  • The flight model was tested by real Sling pilots
  • Realistic Flight Model
  • First person walking system (walk mod)
  • Engine maintenance mode
  • 3D ground equipment services
  • FMod realistic sound
  • VR support
  • Full clickable cockpit

  • Garmin avionics

The TAF Sling 2 is a light sport aircraft equipped with a 100HP Rotax 912 iS engine. Due to its low operational costs, the aircraft is used in many flight schools around the world as an initial training aircraft. It is produced by Sling Aircraft, a South African company based in Johannesburg. Since its first flight in November 2008, over 310 (2019) models have been built.

According to RuSky Group’s website, the TAF Sling 2 will be coming “soon” to Microsoft Flight Simulator. In the meantime, you can purchase the X-Plane version of the aircraft on the X-Plane Org Store for $27.95 USD.
