The first and only weather injecting addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator, REX 6 Weather Force 2020, has had an update to the product announced, which will bring it to version 1.3. If you weren’t aware, Weather Force is a dynamic real-time METAR-based weather addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The addon “also includes a wide range of proprietary dynamic, changing (non-static) weather scenarios.”

Although a full feature list hasn’t been provided, the developers did provide us with a list showcasing “Some of the key areas of focus” for this update. You can view this list below.

• Initial load of key weather elements after the first injection of weather 
• Searching for weather during weather synthesis
• Option to have snow render immediately according to the metar report - this will be based upon the snowfall rate.
• Other general fix items

A public test version will be provided from the developer to users who wish to test this update before Its initial release.
