rkApps Invites Interested Users for Upcoming FSRealistic Plugin for MSFS

rkApps is making its move into Microsoft Flight Simulator with a call for interest on their upcoming tailored version of their popular sensory plugin, originally made for X-Plane dubbed XPRealistic; the MSFS version will be named FSRealistic, originally announced back at the end of last year. Today, through an email, the developer has sent out beta access to some of the users who expressed interest in the upcoming plugin for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

rkApps has been a major player for bringing finer sensory experiences in the X-Plane 11 community for quite some time, they are most known for their development of XPRealistic, other similar developers in this field include SimCoders who develops add-ons to existing aircraft to improve their flying characteristics. The plugin brings added immersion with realistic ambient sounds, headshaking, and effects to X-Plane to make it look and sound more realistic, and is actively maintained in updates with the last major upgrade for the plugin just being in July of 2020.

At this moment, rkApps has not revealed any further details of the product, and the developer has remained tight-lipped. No release date or teasers have been published to the public as of today, as for now, you can sign up for the development emails, or if you are interested in buying XPRealistic you can buy it from the.Org Store for $35.00 USD, or on the Simmarket listed at roughly the same price.

Threshold will keep you updated on the product as more information becomes readily available.
