RWY26 have announced in a Facebook post the official release of their latest add-on Guernsey Airport EGJB, the only paved runway of Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

Guernsey Airport is the main airport of Guernsey Island, located in the Channel Islands, between England and France. The airport’s 1,500 meters long runway accommodates mostly propeller airliners such as the ATR but also sees the occasional narrow-body jet. Guernsey is a hub for Aurigny and Blue Islands. Since FlyBe’s collapse, the airport has seen a notable decrease in passengers with only 800,000 visitors last year.

The airport features PBR materials, custom night lighting and accurately modelled 3D buildings like the terminal.  Furthermore, high-definition ground textures are included which integrate seamlessly with the airport’s 3D grass and trees. The airport also supports ground traffic and static aircraft. Here is the full feature list:

  • Accurately modeled 3D airport and buildings
  • HD Ground Textures
  • PBR Materials
  • Autogate
  • Ground Traffic
  • Static Aircraft
  • 3D Grass and Trees
  • Custom Night Lighting

RWY26’ Guernsey Airport is for sale on Simmarket for 14.28 Euros (15.56 USD as of today).
