SimCoders & JRollon Debut SIAI Marchetti SF260 in MSFS

Both previously X-Plane exclusive developers, JRollon and SimCoders have collaboratively dipped their toes into Microsoft Flight Simulator development with the SIAI Marchetti, a conversion of that for Laminar's sim.

Though only formally announced today on SimCoders' Facebook page, partner Javier Rollon - creator of the famed CRJ-200 for X-Plane - has been showing off the Marchetti in-simulator since late October.

Teasers have mainly come on YouTube, with a five-minute teaser out on October 31 showing off some of the acrobatic qualities of the aircraft.

Later, a 30-minute full flight in the Marchetti was also posted to the platform, showing yet more acrobatics as well as shutdown procedures.

The SF260 was released for X-Plane in November 2018 by SimCoders and was the first aircraft ever released by the brand - and also the first to come natively with Reality Expansion Pack functionality.
